We have been working closely with Lewisham Council, Jobcentre Plus, NDC, Glendale Managed Services. We have a close relationship with the Lewisham Environment Trust who will be hosting a conference to celebrate Lewisham’s Environmental Sustainability projects on Saturday 10th May 2008. We are also a partner in Lewisham Biodiversity Partnership delivering towards a Natural Renaissance in Lewisham.
Envirowork Lewisham is a partner in the Lewisham Biodiversity Partnership.
Jobcentreplus provides funding under the Subsidised Employment Scheme
Ian Gower Associates Ltd is a group of experienced trainers and consultants from the land-based industries specialising mainly in amenity horticulture.
Lewisham Environment Trust is the charity associated with Envirowork Lewisham.
Envirowork Lewisham works in partnership with New Cross Gate NDC.
Hilly Fields Park User Group, an independent group of local residents and park users that aims to achieve sustainable improvements and facilities for the park.
Glendale manages most of the parks and open spaces of Lewisham, Envirowork Lewisham work in some parks and pass suitably qualified, experienced and motivated trainees on to them. EL also works with Park User and Friends of Cemeteries Groups.
Lewisham and the London Development Agency are key partners and Envirowork Lewisham is recognised as a Strategic Partner to Green Scene.
Funding for the original setting up came from Urban Renaissance in Lewisham.
